welcome to the club, not much to discuss though, adding additional armor is 99.9% guaranteed to not happen at this point. So no matter how badly I want it my derv is never gonna get melonni's primeval armor

Look at it from the bright side - less options for ugly combos.

Would be nice. Kinda ruins the specialness of new hero armor though; if they were available to players there'd be no motivation for people to get them for their heroes.
Oh well, if Anet couldn't be bothered giving us new armor for EotN they could give us access to some, if not all, of the hero armors.

i wish we were given a ton more options for armor just so there wasnt such a generic look for all characters. Especially if you stack it against Anet's CITY OF HEROES you are severely SEVERLY limited.
Plus all +60k armor for rangers no matter what it is, look like crap compared to other professions like to warriors and assassins.

Been brought up before. the mean reason is a lot of Hero/hench armor is seamless. It's just one big piece, meaning that it cant be split into legs/chest/head and so on.
@cazo
You want to stack CoX (a game build around designing a character) against it - ofc it's going to be better at it. It's designed for it! anyway while CoX might have variety it has nowhere near the detail of GW armor.
Also subjective statements like "all +60k armor for rangers looks like crap" is possibly one of the worst reasons to change anything.
(P.s if your really desperate, grab texmod)

sigh, hate when people post giant pictures and strecth out the board. and yeah, the hero armor is pretty specific to the heroes body and what not. make sets of it would require creation for alternate genders, picking places for armor vendors, etc etc. besides, some of it is extremely similar to what we have. like the primeval being almost exactly the same as vabbian.

Like many people i like other armors used in the game , mhenlos, togos (young and old), ascalonian pre searing guard.......
However i'm guessin its alot easier to design one armor set for a hero than a player. Player armor is split into multiple parts not to mention it has to fit different sized players, which can result in clipping issues.

Clipping issues haven't stopped them from putting out armor before?

This isn't a suggestion. And this has been brought up before.
